Fizikel Foundation’s Empower the Youth Outreach Program Works cohesively with the Fuel for Life Success Journal or the Fuel for Life Success Jouranl with bible references Through the Empower the Youth Outreach Program youth will decide on a ‘cause’ that can help better a group of people and/or community and set achievable goals in order to see it come to pass. Youth will have the opportunity to come together within their community or a neighboring community and utilize their individual gifts and talents to help bring about a positive change. A detailed program guide will be provided to help direct the youth and their leadership in deciding upon a ‘cause’ in their local area while developing an action plan on how to carry it out. The Fuel for Life Success Journal is highly recommended to be purchased. Empower the Youth Day with Award Ceremony Fizikel Challenge The Fizikel Challenge is an event in which youth can participate in a variety of challenging activities that will build confidence and self-esteem all while competing against their peers. The Champion Mentorship Program The Champion Mentorship Program enables youth the opportunity to help other youth, help their local community and help others less fortunate around the world ultimately changing lives, changing communities and changing the world. Upper-class students, who take place in the after school and/or summer Champion Mentorship Program will have the opportunity to inspire, motivate and educate others to maximize their human potential. A percentage of the tuition for the Champion Mentorship Program will go to Fizikel Foundation to help continue the vision to ‘empower all youth everywhere to maximize human potential’ and its mission to 'expand The Fuel for Life Lifestyle Teaching curriculum to communities around the world. The Champion Mentorship Program is designed to inspire, motivate and educate the next generation. Students will be selected between the ages of 12 and 17 to help encourage and inspire students who are between the ages of 4and 11. The mentorship program will take place during the before/after school programs, summer camps, and possibly during school. Upper-class students will be partnered with lower-class students and work side by side in the areas of tutoring, creative projects, physical activities and local community outreaches and projects. Each student who enrolls in the Champion Mentorship Program will be required to participate in three 1-hour Mentorship Training Classes prior to the start of the program. Tutoring: Tutoring will take place during the after school program and involves helping lower-class students with weekly homework and preparation for projects and tests. Creative Projects: Creative projects include; art, music, drama, etc. that are being offered during an after school program and summer camp. Physical Activities: Physical activity involving; exercise, sports and nutrition. Local Outreach/Community Projects: Local Outreaches and Community Projects will take place during the after school program and summer camps. Local outreaches will take place in neighboring inner city neighborhoods so that the Champion Mentorship Program impacts not only those who are doing the mentoring but brings those that are being mentored into areas where they too can help other students. Local community projects will take place in the town that the Champion Mentorship Program resides in. Global Outreach: Each summer, through Fizikel Foundation, one or more student(s) will be selected out of the Champion Mentorship Program that is being offered in various locations, to go on a mission trip either inside or outside the § An ability to make an impact that can last a lifetime § An ability to utilize their gifts and talents over a period of time (4-5 day trip) to inspire, motivate and educate others § A change in perspective that can impact themselves and others § A deepening appreciation for what § An enhanced awareness of the global crisis (i.e. food, disease) Selection Process for the Champion Mentorship Abroad Program: The students will be selected based on their participation in the Champion Mentorship Program. The overseer for each program (or a team of overseers) will be involved in the selection process. The decision will be based on the following: - Overall commitment to the mentorship program - Overall growth throughout the mentorship program - Written statement from the student who was being mentored expressing ‘why’ he/she feels their mentor should be selected for the Global Outreach Program. - A short essay from the mentor expressing how he/she sees themselves inspiring, motivating and educating youth outside of the Global Outreach Program Each summer, through Fizikel Foundation, one or more student(s) will be selected out of the Champion Mentorship Program that is being offered in various locations, to go on a mission trip either inside the § An ability to make an impact that can last a lifetime § An ability to utilize their gifts and talents over a period of time (4-5 day trip) to inspire, motivate and educate others § A change in perspective that can impact themselves and others § A deepening appreciation for what § An enhanced awareness of the global crisis (i.e. food, disease) Fizikel Scholarship Program Youth can fill out an application to receive scholarships to help subsidize ‘movement for improvement’ ideas and/or resource tools.
